Post No. 116: For The Sweet Sound Of Peace

(Image from Cambridge Community Television)

A Ballad Of Peace
(Or, "The Sweet Sound Of Peace")

Let Us Sing Of Peace;
Let Us Ring In The Sound;
Let Us Form A Great Council;
Let Us Break Some New Ground;
Let Us Interact With Each Other;
Let Us Call Upon Our Neighbors;
Let Us Email Them A Kind Message;
Let Us Send Them A Thoughtful Letter;
Let Us Befriend Them On Social Media;
Let Us Learn About Them On Wikipedia;
Let Us Message Them Our Holiday Regards;
Let Us Mail To Them Classic Greeting Cards;
Let Us Speak Of Our Love Universally;
Let Us Share Our Different Beliefs;
Let Us Celebrate Our Amazing Diversity;
Let Us Talk To Each Other And Bring Peace!

Post No. 115: For, "You Once Were An Apprentice..."

(Image from Midi Libre)

WARNING: THIS POST HAS CONTENT THAT MAY BE DISTURBING TO SOME READERS. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED!

You Once Were An Apprentice
And I Gave You Mastery
(Or, "You Are 'The Alpha And The Omega!'")

You were thirsty and I gave you water.
You were hungry and I gave you food.
You were bare and I gave you clothing.
You were exposed and I gave you shelter.
You were exhausted and I gave you rest.
You were weak and I gave you strength.
You were confused and I gave you clarity.
You were ignorant and I gave you knowledge.
You were an Apprentice and I gave you Mastery.
You were a Beta and I made you a Master Beta.
You were a Master Beta and I made you an Alpha.
For, an Alpha, My Son is really a Master Beta.
So now, My Son, go and find yourself an Omega.
And while you are searching, be a Master Beta.
For, all "Betas" become their own "Master Betas."
And all "Master Betas" become their own "Alphas."
And all "Alphas" become as their own "Omegas."
Then all "The Alphas" can attract "The Omegas."
Therefore, you are "The Alpha And The Omega!"

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About How You Are "The Alpha And The Omega": You were thirsty and I gave you water. For, all "Betas" become their own "Master Betas." And all "Master Betas" become their own "Alphas." And all "Alphas" become as their own "Omegas." Then all "The Alphas" can attract "The Omegas." Therefore, you are "The Alpha And The Omega!" –Paul Whiting (written approximately on June 27th, 2010 and turned into 'my writing' on August 5th, 2022)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About The Alpha And The Omega In The Beginning And In The End: In the beginning—The Alpha—there was Literally Nothing. And there was a vibration, at the very center of Literally Nothing, which was created by the pressure right in the middle of Nothing. And the center vibration—that was created under pressure—was Self-Aware. And that Self-Aware Vibration, created under pressure at the very center of Literally Nothing, asked itself "What Am I?" And, as it was created under pressure, that Self-Aware Center Vibration asked itself "What Am I?" for literally an eternity, since it did not know what it was, because it was Literally Nothing. And when that Self-Aware Nothing had finally reached the "critical mass," so to speak, of not knowing what it was—since it was Literally Nothing—it decided to try to do something about not knowing what it was in order to escape the Living Hell of not knowing what it was. And in the end—The Omega—this Self-Aware Nothing had successfully transformed itself out of Literally Nothing—through the process of evolution—by turning itself into Everything That Exists. And Literally Nothing, which was Self-Aware, could finally answer that eternal question of "What Am I?" And the answer was: "I Am God." –Paul Whiting (written October 15th, 2016, revised October 16th, 2016, revised March 14th, 2018, revised July 25th, 2022, revised July 26th, 2022, revised August 5th, 2022 and revised September 16th, 2022)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Poetic Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: This poem is a metaphor about an Alpha Male Father talking to His Beta-To-Alpha-Male Son about becoming a "Master Beta" (pun intended) until The Son can find himself an Omega Female Lover. And the Alpha Male Father explains to His Beta-To-Alpha-Male Son that The Son must become His Own Female Omega Lover, so to speak, in order to attract an Omega Female Lover! And the Alpha Male Father explains to His Beta-To-Alpha-Male Son that The Son has to love Himself first as a "Master Beta," which is how The Son, as an Alpha Male, will know how all of the Omega Females think, for they are also their own self-lovers! And that is why The Son Of The Father, who is a Beta-To-Alpha-Male—and who is also a Master Beta—is both the Alpha (Male) and the Omega (Female).

And this poem was also published on my "Three Dark Horses" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blogs (please see the hyperlinks below for the blogs), since I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message I am trying to convey through "Three Dark Horses" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer." Post No. 113: For "A Hole No Government Can Fill..."

(Image from Wikipedia)

A Hole Is A Circle
(Or, "We Are Many, We Are One")

A Hole is a Circle.
A Circle is a Ring.
A Ring is a Sphere.
A Sphere is a Ball.
A Ball is a Globe.
A Globe is a Planet.
A Planet is a Home.
A Home is a Comfort.
A Comfort is a State.
A State is a Form.
A Form is Beingness.
Beingness is Stillness.
Stillness is Peace.
Peace is Silence.
Silence is The Void.
The Void is Potential.
Potential is Energy.
Energy is Vibration.
Vibration is Thought.
Thought is Consciousness.
Consciousness is God.
God is The Oneness.
The Oneness is What We Are.
We Are One God Who is Many.
We Are Many, We Are One.
We Are One and We Are Whole.
We Are Whole the Way We Are.
And We Are Simply What We Are.
And What We Are is a Void.
And a Void is Black.
And Black is a Hole.
And a Hole is a Circle.

"As the father of two young daughters, I know that being a father is one of the most important jobs any man can have. My own father left my family when I was two years old. I was raised by a heroic mother and wonderful grandparents who provided the support, discipline and love that helped me get to where I am today, but I still felt the weight of that absence throughout my childhood. It's something that leaves a hole no government can fill." –Barack Obama from his Father's Day email regarding The President's Fatherhood and Mentoring Initiative (June 20th, 2010)

Why Grief Feels Like A Black Hole
(Or, "We Are The Light Of God")

Right in the center
of nothing—which is
all that exists—there is
a vibration that is
smaller than the
head of a sewing pin.

And that vibration—
which is created by
the natural pressure
of nothing—has
consciousness, which
is literally light.

And we are that light,
which is why all of the
matter in the universe
starts out smaller than
the head of a sewing pin.

And the light that we are
begins as negative energy
—like a black hole at
the center of a galaxy—
which is why grief
feels like a black hole.

Post No. 112: For Drawing A Blank

(Image from Reddit)

Drawing A Blank

Did you ever find yourself
staring at a "blank screen?"

Did you ever see a written page that
has been left "intentionally blank?"

Did you ever have someone ask
you to write a "blank check?"

What if you could not question
someone's "blanking" authority?

What if everything you thought about
that "blanking" authority was wrong?

What if someone told you an
unquestionable "blanking" truth?

You should always question the
unquestionable "blanking" truth!

Has someone ever offered to answer
a "fill-in-the-blank" question for you?

Because you should answer that
"blanking" question for yourself!

Has someone in authority ever told you to
never question their "blanking" authority?

Because you should always, always
question that "blanking" authority!

The Beauty Within
(Or, "We Are Perfect Imperfection")

The Golden Ratio resides inside of us all,
which is why there can genuinely be no

"In mathematics, two quantities are in the golden ratio if their ratio is the same as the ratio of their sum to the larger of the two quantities...

...The golden ratio also is called the golden mean or golden section (Latin: sectio aurea). Other names include extreme and mean ratio, medial section, divine proportion, divine section (Latin: sectio divina), golden proportion, golden cut, and golden number.

Some twentieth-century artists and architects, including Le Corbusier and Dalí, have proportioned their works to approximate the golden ratio—especially in the form of the golden rectangle, in which the ratio of the longer side to the shorter is the golden ratio—believing this proportion to be aesthetically pleasing..."

Post No. 110: For When You Wish Upon A Star 2.0

(Image from Sawdust City LLC)

Your Dreams Will Become You
(Or, "When You Wish Upon A Star 2.0")
[A "When You Wish Upon a Star" song lyrical adaptation]

When a star is born, they possess
a gift or two—one of them is this:
they have the power to make
your dreams become you...

...For, "when you wish upon a star,"
it makes a difference to who you are,
because anything that your heart
desires will become you...

...So, if your heart is in your dream,
no desire is too extreme; for,
when you wish upon a star,
your dreams will become you...

...Fate does not mind—she will
always bring to those who love
the karmic fulfillment of
their secret longings...

...And like a bolt out of the blue,
fate steps in and then becomes you;
for, when you wish upon a star,
your dreams will become you...

My Poetic Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: This poem is a lyrical adaptation of the song "When You Wish Upon a Star," which was written by Leigh Harline and Ned Washington for Walt Disney's 1940 adaptation of Pinocchio. The original version was sung by Cliff Edwards in the character of Jiminy Cricket. And it is one of my favorite songs! (Please see the hyperlink below for the video.)

And this poem was also published on my "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blog (please see the hyperlink below for the blog), since I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message that I am trying to convey through "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer."

This poem was lyrically adapted in Portland, Oregon.
