Post No. 072: For Self-Reflection, Part 6 — Totally Free And Clear

Totally Free And Clear
(Or, "Being Completely Responsible")

I saw myself as the child,
but finally concluded that—
in reality—I was the parent.

I saw myself as the student,
then finally understood that—
undoubtedly—I was the teacher.

I saw myself as the apprentice,
only to finally comprehend that—
in all actuality—I was the master.

For, I saw myself as being totally
free and clear—and I finally realized
that means being completely responsible.

My Writing About You Being Responsible For Every Soul That Has Ever Existed: You are responsible for every soul that has ever existed. And, specifically, you are responsible for your own soul as every soul that has ever existed. For, God is every soul that has ever existed—and that is what you are, because you are God. So, take responsibility for your own soul as if it is every soul that has ever existed. –Paul Whiting (written September 11th, 2016, revised September 12th, 2016 and revised August 3rd, 2022)

My Poetic Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: "I saw myself as being totally free and clear—and I finally realized that means being completely responsible."

And this poem was also published on my "Three Dark Horses" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blogs (please see the hyperlinks below for the blogs), since I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message I am trying to convey through "Three Dark Horses" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer." Plus, I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message I am trying to convey through my new "The Oneness Of God" spiritual practice!

This poem was written in Portland, Oregon.
